It is very important to take the necessary precautions in order to avoid accidents and reduce the risk of serious injuries. One of the most important things is to wear a helmet. Wearing a helmet severely reduces the risk of head injury and death. Helmet can save your life, and your passengers should always wear a helmet and protective gear.  It is important to make sure that the helmet also protects your face and eyes.

When it comes to the passengers, it is important that they follow several simple rules:

  • Wear a helmet and other protective gear
  • Keep the feet on the footrests at all times, even when stopping
  • Get on the motorcycle only when it is started
  • Passenger should lean when you are turning
  • Passenger has to hold on tight to a handle or your waist at all times
  • Keep legs away from the mufflers to avoid burns
  • The passenger should limit their movements and talking while riding

Other tips to follow for most safety are:

  • Get licensed
  • Wear long sleeve protective gear and boots
  • Never drink before driving
  • Follow road rules, especially speed limits
  • Watch out from hazards on the roads, like cracks and bumps
  • Pay attention to other vehicles, especially coming from driveways and side streets
  • Make sure your headlights are on at all times

Do not take passengers until you are skilled enough to ride in all conditions
